The variations of curve and roundness build relationship, while the contrasts of bone, horn and metal
horn pique the interest of the viewer. In addition to analyzing form and color - the toned gray and beige of the instrument, the skull and the additional supporting visual
characters - I
found myself wondering whether music trumps composition.
And then recalled a line from a Paul Simon song:
"Sometimes even music cannot substitute for tears."

Just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying these deily photos.
oops, that's DAILY
Thanks for saying so, Lesley. I appreciate the feedback - as it helps to know we don't work in a vacuum!
Jane, wherever did you happen upon this arrangement? It is somewhat startling to see the skull thrown in so casually with the other objects.
Your 'Daily Visuals'have really inspired me. It's a terrific idea, and I relish being privy to the workings of your mind as you share revelations that the photos have prompted for later cloth explorations.
