Prevent trouble before it arises.
Put things in order before they exist.
The giant pine tree
grows from a tiny sprout.
The journey of a thousand miles
starts from beneath your feet.
Verse 64; Tao te Ching
Stephen Mitchell translation

Both this image and the last emphasize perspective - whether coming or going, it's always something the visual artist should be thinking about. I like both images because, although both appear to be very realistic, the distance is always a bit hazy. One foot in front of the other.
