I also love the ...You didn't mention the roses. I also love the art work on the wall--more cats, I think! A very calm and welcoming scene. A few gentle diagonals but very stable visually. Years ago my father-in-law (a minister) told a children's sermon story about the arms of the cross: the arms reach out to us all and the vertical connects each of us to God. I think that verticals are that strong, they connect us and hold us down. The arms--horizontals--are reaching out, maybe like the arms of a tightrope walker--stabilizing us and our work.
