I made a red and gr...Our old friends red and green. I made a red and green quilt once and was so pleased that it didn't look like Christmas. What a lovely shade the chain is and the grass, very nice. That diagonal of chain is stabilized well by the plus sign shape of the rusted metal, complemented by the almost horizontal at the top, which leads gently into the chain's diagonal, doesn't it? There's a lot going on with that square head and its washer on mid-right, but it stabilizes the setting too, while adding another element. I think a lot of elements work together here because they're all the same color and value, almost, anyway. There is a good range of values including that triangle center and moving its diagonal to the left.
