If I remove the concept of a letter from my mind and just look at the image, I am fascinated how these shapes work together. They're all connected really by the white. I'm sure that part of what moves my eye is the predictability of the of that letter I'm trying not to see. Only three values and very close to the same color, aren't they? You have really used the space well, coming right to the lower edge and slicing off a bit at the top. The resulting compression is effective. I think it''s the middle of the 'O' that makes me smile so easily, it looks like a smile, doesn't it! And a happy eye as well, some sort of conquering masked crusader or a child pretending. See?
